Hi Mr. Robin,i really love your blog, i am a new user of pen.I ve bought cctv lens 25 mm f 1.2 on my E-P3 ( after read your blog hehe.. )But how to get an infinity sharp picture , like yours ( especially street photography ) because mine always blur and bokeh everywhere :( . Thank u so much
Hello Indri,Thanks for the kind compliments. Did you focus properly? To get a focused photograph you have to make sure your subject is in focus.
i never use manual lens before hehe. I set the camera to M , then trial and error to get the best focus. If i want infinity the vignetting became bigger , is it true ? Maybe u crop the image so the vignetting can be smaller ? hehe still learn ^,^ thanks Mr. Robin
Are you in KL? Maybe we should meet up. email me. email@example.com
Unfortunately , i'm from Indonesia :( . Ok Mr. Robin, if i have another question i will send email to you. Thanks a lot and wait for your review about E-PL 5 ^,^
I am impressed by the color of this lens. Is this the same CCTV lens available on eBay for about $25? : http://www.ebay.com/itm/CCTV-25mm-f-1-2-f1-2-C-mount-Lens-for-Micro-4-3-M4-3-EPL-1-EP-1-GH1-GF1-G3-GF2-/170856870545?pt=US_Lens_Adapters_Mounts_Tubes&hash=item27c7dcf291
From your past entry, I guess it is the lens on eBay. After looking at various photos from Flickr, I decided to buy a CCTV 35mm f1.7 lens. That one seems have the least swirl and vignetting.
Yes it is the same lens. However take note that the color rendition has nothing to do with the lens, it was the camera, E-PL1 that renders that color.
